Your prices
Your prices is where you enter a value by hand for a holding the market feed does not price, so an unlisted investment or a private holding can still be included in your account's value.
Not everything in a portfolio has a market price. An unlisted company, a fund the feed does not carry, a stake in a private business, or a bond without a live quote all have a value, but no price arrives for them automatically. Without a price a holding cannot be valued, and your account total is incomplete. This page lets you enter a price for such a symbol, and holdings then use it to value the position.
The figure you enter is your own estimate, not a market bid, offer, or last trade, and it does not update until you change it. Nobody else sees it as a quote. Listed shares take their price from the feed and need no entry here.
