Stock Finder
Stock Finder is a stock screener: it searches a market for shares that meet the financial criteria you set, such as a minimum dividend yield or a maximum price-to-earnings ratio, so you find candidates by their fundamentals rather than by their price moves.
If you are looking for income you want shares yielding above a certain level; if you are looking for value you want a low price relative to earnings or assets; if you avoid tiny companies you want a minimum market capitalisation. Checking those figures one company at a time is impractical across a whole market. Stock Finder applies your conditions to every share at once and returns only the ones that pass, with live prices alongside so you can act on the result.
The filters use fundamental and statistical fields: yield, price-to-earnings ratio, market capitalisation, and the like. You can combine several conditions and choose the columns shown for each match. A filter you will run again, say monthly to look for new candidates, can be saved as a named profile. A match is only a share that passed your test; it is not a recommendation, and the figures are the company's reported numbers, which are worth checking before you rely on them.
