Canvas
Canvas is a free-form board on which you arrange charts, quotes, notes, and labels by hand, for watching a set of related shares together in a layout that suits the way you think about them.
Fixed layouts suit most purposes, but not all. If you are following a takeover you might want the bidder's chart, the target's chart, a note of the offer terms, and the currency pair all in view at once; if you are trading a pair of shares you might want the two charts side by side with a note of the ratio. Canvas allows that. You place charts, live quotes, text notes, labels, and frames to group them anywhere on the board, size and move them freely, and zoom the board in and out. You can save several canvases for different purposes.
Canvas differs from the single chart page, which is one symbol with its studies, and from the chart grid, which fills itself automatically from a watchlist or portfolio. Canvas is arranged by hand and holds notes as well as prices.
