Filing
A filing is an official document a company has lodged with its regulator, shown in full, so you can read the source of a story rather than a summary of it.
Headlines summarise; filings are the original. When a company reports results, announces a deal, or discloses something material, the document it files with the regulator is the primary record, and a headline about it may leave out the detail that matters to you. This page shows one such document: its title, the full text, and a link to the regulator's own copy where the filing has one.
You reach a filing from a symbol's quote or news, not from a search on this page. It is the company's own words, which is what makes it worth reading when a share has moved and the headline is not enough.
